My wife has been Jason's patient since before he opened his own location. She's never had anyone do as good of a job as Jason; he listens to her feedback regarding how much pressure to use (nobody else ever dug hard enough despite her repeated requests), he finds and skillfully works all the problem…
If you are sore and you are looking to get to the root of the problem, this is the place to go! Jason really knows his stuff and will work with you to find out the causes of your pain and/or soreness. His place is one of the cleanest therapy rooms I have ever been into. Very relaxing and comfortable.
So happy I found Cooper’s Muscle Therapy! Haven’t had a massage in over a year and had so much tension everywhere. Lifting heavy weights and working as a massage therapist myself takes a toll on the body. I like deep pressure and Jason did not disappoint.
Best deep tissue massage!! Great massage therapist that knows what he is doing. Communicates effectively, incorporates stretching into his therapy when/if needed. Will chat or let you have a quiet mellow session depending on what you are in the mood for.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
