Come For Health - Acupuncture and Natural Health Clinic is "top notch". Practitioner Dr. Yuliya is by far intuitive, skilled & knowledgeable with her acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. I have personally been committed to my health and Dr. Yuliya is very passionate and just as dedicated with my quest.
Yuliya is incredible. I started 6 months ago for lower back pain and trouble falling back to sleep and had great success from her acupuncture and herbal recommendations. She is VERY knowledgeable and spends one-on-one time before every session to go over recent issues that are bothering me.
I highly recommend seeking care from Yuliya and Mischa. I was treated by both of them for a shoulder injury that had been causing me severe pain, and limited range of motion. You can immediately feel that their practice is based on genuine kindness and dedication to helping you heal. The space is calming and clean.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
