From the reviews
I can’t believe it has taken me so long to write this (I miss you all at CPT!!!) Clifton Physical Therapy is one of those rare places where you don’t just feel like a patient—you feel like part of the family. From the moment you walk in, the entire team makes you feel welcomed, supported, and genuinely cared for.
Dear Tiffany and the team at Clifton Physical Therapy, I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional care I have received at your clinic. Before coming to Clifton Physical Therapy, I felt overwhelmed and frustrated.
So grateful I found CPT when I did! I have arthritis and loss of cartilage in my hip and am very close to being bone on bone and was looking for another option besides surgery. I called and spoke to Tiffany and she told me I would be a perfect candidate for them so I gave it a shot!
Our experience with Clifton Physical Therapy has been amazing! From the very first phone call with Tiffany, I knew that she was knowledgeable and skilled in managing sports related injuries. My son pulled his hamstring during a track meet and was in pain.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
