I have been going to Dr Lee since January 2020 after a car accident. When I started I had very limited range of motion in my neck and lots of pain. I transferred my care to him after seeing just a PT. I saw improvements after the first visit.
I went to ChiroFIT for my shoulder pain and limited range of motion. Before the visit, I actually took physical therapies from another clinic for about a month and a half. However, the recovery was so slow and the cost was too high. I tried to see Dr. Lee without much expectation, however I was blown away by Dr.
Dr. Lee is a wonderful practitioner, clearly well versed in his craft and has helped alleviate my back and neck pain. There is no sense of rush at this office, I feel like my needs and care are always put first and like the treatment time is very generous. He has great bedside manner, and is also funny and kind.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
