From the reviews

I started seeing Dr. Mary to assist in fertility after trying to conceive for almost 2 years. After only 7 weeks of acupuncture treatments, I got a positive pregnancy test! Also, even with a full time work schedule it is very easy to find appointment times that work for me. I truly believe in Dr.

When my 3rd child was breech at 37 weeks, I went to Mary for the first time. She did two treatments of acupuncture/moxibustion. I was pleasantly surprised when I checked into the hospital a few days later for an external version (procedure to try to manually move the baby) and they identified that the baby was in the…

Mary Zhang is an absolutely brilliant and intuitive practitioner. She has helped me so much with digestive issues, nerve pain and other conditions over the last 20 years. The problem is me, I’d get better and quit seeing her. Not a great decision on my part!

★★★★★ — Maggi, Jul 2024

Mary is so intuitive and helpful. I was referred to her my one of my clients who went to Mary for pregnancy help too. Mary is very helpful because she gives you hope and her approach is hands on and makes you feel in control of your health and body.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
