From the reviews
We have had several massages with Ana and one a few days ago with Mae. They have both been incredible! They found and massaged out sore areas, used hot stones to soothe and massage, and we left feeling so fresh and new! Mae also used hot towels to soothe sore areas and absorb any massage oils.
I have been going to Chi massage for over 4 years and find this to be my go to place for a great massage. I have been seeing Alice for most of that time and she has done wonders for my health and well being. The best part is the staff for the most part remains the same which means consistency each and every time.
I have been getting a massage from Alice and at times her other staff over the last 6 years. I find the consistancy to be a plus. I have found that the longer you stay with a massage therapist the better the relationship and technique can be refined to suit my needs.
I discovered this place 3 years ago, and have been a regular customer ever since. This is a legitimate licensed spa. The therapists do their best to cater to your needs. They have fair pricing, a warm and kind staff and offer several types of therapies. My favorite is the 90 minute CBD massage.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
