From the reviews
Brent isn’t just a massage therapist, he’s an amazing, intuitive healer! He has the ability to read your energy and intuit what your body needs in the moment. He uses a varied tool kit, including different massage techniques and modalities like cupping, sound bath and aromatherapy, which he combines to provide a…
I don’t often treat myself to massages of this quality, and honestly, it’s usually outside of what I’d normally spend. That said, Brent’s work is truly something special and worth every penny. I’ve had many massages over the years, and Brent provides some of the best bodywork I’ve ever had.
I booked the new client 90-minute massage with Brent after reading the incredibly consistent reviews online. I'm happy to say that the reviews held up in my experience. The space is warm and inviting and Brent is clear and precise in explaining how the session will unfold.
I was referred to Brent by a mutual friend for chronic low back pain from a sports injury that occurred over 10 yrs ago. After a few sessions, my back pain substantially diminished and now almost nonexistent. Brent takes the time to listen carefully to your concerns and customizes each session accordingly.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
