From the reviews
…Andrea targeted this area in one of our acupuncture sessions and afterwards my knees bruised up for a few days and then the ache went away.
…She even does real fire cupping! I love working with her and I look forward to my appts.
I was recommended to Andrea by my sister who has been seeing her for Crohn’s Disease. At first I wasn’t sure about going, but then saw how much she helped my sister and thought maybe she could help me too. I don’t have digestive issues, but sometimes I struggle with my mental health.
I'm so grateful to have found Belmarie Millan at Centered Health Healing. I came to Belmarie with a very painful nerve neck/arm issue. She has helped me fully recover. Her treatment is gentle and very effective. She has also improved my overall wellness, like improved digestion and stress relief.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
