From the reviews

I received multiple treatments from Dr. Nathan and each one improved my chest and back pain and mobility issues in a substantial way. The acupuncture combined with massage and cupping was immensely helpful with my increased physical well being and pain management.

Google reviews led me to Nathan Webb when I was unable to get a timely appointment with the other excellent acupuncturist I see. In my early seventies, I continue to benefit greatly from Dr. Webb’s skilled treatment of a mid-back pain issue that has compromised my life in many ways in recent years.

★★★★★ — Mary, Jul 2021

Dr. Nathan Webb is my go to acupuncturist for my aches and pains! He has helped me with knee swelling and ankle tendinitis while triathlon training, hip pain during pregnancy, and neck/shoulder pain.

★★★★★ — Kassandra, Apr 2024

I highly recommend Dr. Webb as an acupuncturist, herbalist and massage therapist. I've been seeing Dr. Webb over the past 10 weeks for endometriosis and a hormonal disorder. The treatments have decreased my pain level by about 60% and I am now able to function during what used to be a debilitating part of my cycle.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
