From the reviews

I couldn't recommend Stacey with more enthusiasm. She makes you feel so warm and welcome and really brought profound change to my situation 14 years ago. I still use her today for myself but as a midwife I also refer all of my own pregnant clients to her.

★★★★★ — Tracy, Dec 2017

Stacey is amazing. She did prenatal acupuncture on my hips and it was amazing. I was miserable and she helped me throughout my pregnancy. I was also in labor for 27 hours with severe back labor and she came to my house during labor and gave my acupuncture.

★★★★★ — Kristen, Sep 2017

If you are looking for a Practitioner that genuinely cares about your well being and really takes the time to get to know you, I highly recommend Stacey Small L.Ac. She makes you feel like you have someone on your side.

★★★★★ — Jennifer, Oct 2024

Over a short period of time, Stacey has become an integral part of my wellness regiment. So much so, that I see her just about every other week and have for the past two years. Our work together has resulted in a significant improvement of my health issues including sinus inflammation, tinnitus, and digestive problems.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
