Why Center 4 Massage Therapy is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. Here's what we found: “obile, Allen graduated from the Institute of Health and Healing, attaining his certification in 2006, and is drawn toward therapeutic massage. Allen offers, but is not limited to, deep tissue, sports, trigger point, and cupping sessions,…” source →

From the reviews
…Through deep tissue massages, muscle scraping, and cupping, Allen has been able to work out issues I feared were lifelong, many of which have been improved or fully remedied. He often identifies and relieves tightness in one area that affects an entire chain of muscles, increasing my mobility and relieving discomfort.
I've been going for the last few months and it's honestly been life changing for me. Ginger is really attentive and has found the deep trouble spots that have been bothering me for years. After every session I feel restored and balanced. She is a healer and I'm so grateful to have found her!
After just a few visits, my pain and symptoms of a partially frozen shoulder have reduced dramatically. Allen is very skilled, knowledgeable, and takes pride in his professionalism with clients. The office is clean every visit, which is an added bonus!
Ginger is amazing and always make my arthritic neck feel so much better. Flexible with appointments, a very clean establishment, and just walking through the door makes me start relaxing. HIGHLY recommend Ginger and all the folks here.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
