From the reviews

I don’t know what sorcery Shedara did with my foot that has nearly had me disabled in recent weeks, but I have been probably 90 to 95% pain-free the last 72 hours hours following a 90 minute session. Unbelievable! The money I paid and a thank you seems inadequate.

Erin at Cedar and Sage is amazing. She is very personable and truly cares about you and your progress. Her customer service is top tier. I highly recommend her.

Georgann is great. She listens to any new issues I have and always remembers my normal problem areas. She has created a calm and relaxed environment that makes you feel instantly relaxed. I highly recommend her and my Husband has been seen a few of her associates and has enjoyed every experience as well.

I've been a regular Cedar & Sage customer for over a year. Georganne was highly recommended by my physical therapist to help with back pain. Since then she has helped me recover from a broken leg. Working with Georganne has become an important part of my wellness routine. Always 5 star care!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
