From the reviews
Very dedicated and professional staff. Always a positive experience with their highly qualified and compassionate therapists. You won’t find a better place to help your recovery. Canyon is extremely fortunate to have this caliber of people dedicated to their vocation.
This place to me is the ideal place to recover from and injury. Everyone does there part and do it very good! The whole stuff has a great attitude, and the atmosphere is amazing. They have different ways to help speed your recovery time. Wish they would expand to Amarillo is my only request. Worth the drive!
My physical therapist Christy made me want to work. I didn't feel as hopeless about my neck situation when I went to Canyon PT. I went there for neck pain and upper back muscle spasms and the therapy ended up helping that and also strengthening and giving much improved range of motion, not only to my neck but my bad…
This is by far the best physical therapy place I have been to. I had knee surgery and they got me back to my normal activities very quickly. Everyone genuinely loves what they do and it creates a tremendous environment to get better. It’s very apparent they care for their patients.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
