What clients say about the cupping here
“I experienced a challenging situation where unknowingly I was suffering from an autoimmune issue that involved excessive inflammation throughout my body, causing me great pain.”
“She is a great listener and goes through the stretches with me which I incorporate in my morning routine.”
“My autoimmune issue is now thankfully in remission, and I credit Allison for a lot of my physical recovery, as well as keeping my spirits up, which is a part of the healing process.”
From the reviews
5 stars is not enough. Allison is a true miracle worker. And I have a lot of context for assessing that. I've spent about a year each with 4 different physical therapists now, for mostly ankle problems, and some subsequent back problems.
Allison is a fantastic Physical Therapist, and I feel so lucky to have found her! I experienced a challenging situation where unknowingly I was suffering from an autoimmune issue that involved excessive inflammation throughout my body, causing me great pain.
I can't say enough good things abt Allison Granot and her team. I went from a daily 7-8 on the pain scale (10 being max pain) to a 2 within a month of seeing her.
I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care my daughter has received from Allison at Camino PT. As a gymnast she has faced multiple injuries, and working with a skilled and compassionate therapist is crucial for her recovery and ongoing physical health.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
