From the reviews
A delight working with Eva at Orthopedic Massage. She creates a relaxing spa experience while leveraging her extensive anatomy /physiology expertise to pinpoint root causes of pain or tension, eg repetitive strain or sports injuries, and support you in healing and recovery.
Eva has a very rare touch . She gives a quality restoritive massage with a gentle and effective approach. My range of motion has definately increased with only 2 visits .
I had a chance to visit Orthopedic Restorative Massage. I got 90 minutes massage, and it was a wonderful experience. Eva did an initial assessment of my shoulder, and hip where I have the most trouble. She then used various massage and stretching techniques to work on those areas.
Eva provides fantastic service and is amazing. She is very thoughtful and asks a ton of questions to understand what I need to help recover. I started seeing Eva over a year ago to help me with my shoulder pain and within a few months it was gone and hasn't come back.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
