From the reviews
It is truly a privilege to work with Cynthia at Butterfly Healing. She is positive, intuitive, and has so many modalities to pull from in the healing arts as she does her acupuncture.. Each visit is tailor made and can be totally different. I have received amazing benefits from my visits and am so grateful to Cynthia.
Lower back and sciatic chronic pain for the past 11 months. I've tried chiropractic, physical therapy, two shots in the back, and my back, LOL, was against the wall, my options were depleting and there were only two left. Acupuncture or surgery. I'm not ready for surgery. So I'm trying Acupuncture.
Cynthia is a miracle worker! Thank you Cynthia for giving me back my joy of movement pain free
I was referred to Cynthia by my trainer of 25+ years. Words are just not enough to describe Cynthia and her immeasurable gifts. She is a true gem. Cynthia has multiple tools in her acupuncturist tool kit.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
