From the reviews

I saw Toni for my first ever acupuncture experience and she relieved a lot of my pain in my hips and neck and shoulders. She also gave me exercises to help improve my posture which has massively helped with chronic aches. We tried cupping as well, she is a wizard with many tools at her disposal.

Jenny is a miracle worker. I came to BPHAC after being in a motor vehicle accident. Acupuncture, cupping, and the red light therapy have been working wonders for me. It helps with overall stress and anxiety, as well as all the physical ailments, even my TMJ. Can’t recommend enough.

★★★★★ — Hayley, Feb 2026

From the moment I walked through the doors of BPHAC, I felt seen, heard, and cared for—not just as a patient, but as a whole person navigating chronic pain and complex medical history. This practice is not just a clinic—it’s a place of healing, professionalism, and unwavering compassion. Dr. Nicole Andrus, DAOM, L.

My first Accupuncture appointment (which I made very hesitantly) turned out to be incredible… possibly my first encounter with what I would describe as true “health care”.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
