From the reviews

I started going to Breathe in Motion about a year and a half ago after feeling frustrated with several other PT clinics I’d tried for running injuries over the years, and I’m so grateful I found them. This is the first place where I’ve truly felt supported.

I've been going to Breathe in motion for 2 years. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this PT. I typically do a monthly maintance appointment with Nicole. She's wonderful, very thorough and does a great job of meeting you where you are at.

★★★★★ — Marilyn, Dec 2025

All the staff at Breathe in Motion make you feel so comfortable when seeking out PT needs. Megan is always super welcoming and remembers my name every visit. I’ve been seeing Missy since June for all my postpartum aches along with upper back pain I’ve been dealing with for years. She’s absolutely amazing.

★★★★★ — Tabata, Nov 2025

I came to Breathe in Motion due to some acute back pain and pretty chronic neck and head pain. I have had four sessions and my back pain is in the rear view mirror! We are still working on my neck and head pain issues and the improvement is apparent! We have also set goals of increased flexibility and core strength!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
