From the reviews

I’ve been seeing Amy for a few sessions now and I’ve felt amazing after every single one. Amy is great at making you feel comfortable and relaxed! I also love that she offers seasonal treatments, which is a great way to try out add ons. Personally I have loved her summer and spring specials this past year!

Amy is the best! She was super responsive when I messaged her about accommodations for my massage. She even reached out to other massage therapists to get more information on how best to help me. She is so kind and will give you advice on stretches you can do at home between massages. Thank you so much Amy1

As soon as I walked through the door for the first time, I was at ease and relaxed. That was my first impression and it went great from there. Amy is professional and kind. Oh, and my massage was wonderful! She listened to my concerns and addressed them. I look forward to my next massage. Thank you, Amy!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
