From the reviews
Jeff worked wonders on a shoulder/neck injury. I started the session being unable to move and ended with complete mobility. He provided incredibly helpful exercise recommendations afterwards that further contributed to my healing.
I took my 11-year-old son here today as a treat for his good grades - talk about a “mom win”! The staff there were so sweet - they remembered that he was getting this to celebrate his hard work and they were all congratulating him.
My husband and I have been coming to BodyWorks for almost a year now and treat ourselves to an hour couples massage once a month. We have been so happy with all of the therapists and front desk staff so far. I will say it is difficult to schedule an appointment but once you schedule a few in a row it gets better.
I've been coming to Bodyworks for years and I'm never disappointed. I just had another amazing massage with Jeff. He is a master at what he does....takes the time to check in and assess physical and mental well-being and then goes straight to work to provide incredible relief and relaxation.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
