I can’t say enough good things about Body Remedy in Coral Gables. This is truly not your typical massage experience. Every session feels intentional, tailored, and backed by real knowledge of the body and how it moves.
I was a bit disappointed…… that I couldn’t Give MORE Than 5 Stars. Over a year in pain. Not able to work or sleep. My first session was at 12:30. I got home. I was so relaxed, so @ 4pm I took a “nap”. I woke up at 2am! Ten hours of deep sleep. Unbelievable. After the second session no more bilateral sciatica.
I’ve been suffering from a shoulder pain for some time now and didn’t want to be taking pills for the pain any longer. I felt that I had a huge contraction in my back so decided to look for therapeutic massage place.
I had a great first time experience at Body Remedy. The facility was clean and welcoming. Nadya was my therapist and she was fantastic. From the moment I walked in, she made sure I felt comfortable. I am always cold and she made sure the bed was warm and placed warm covers on me.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
