From the reviews
I've been going to Jennifer for almost 2 years and absolutely love her. I have a need for therapeutic massage and had the hardest time finding someone qualified in myofascial release, true deep tissue and someone who really knows their anatomy well. Jennifer is that person! She is excellent!
I can’t say enough about the great work being done at Body in Balance!!!! I’ve been a client with Jen for almost 2 years with biweekly (1 hour) therapy sessions. Jen has such a great technique and the atmosphere is truly conducive to complete relaxation. I highly recommend adding cupping and hot stones!!!!
Hands down the best massage I’ve had! As sad as I may be that she has left Kansas City I am so happy she’s continuing her journey in Montana. I was skeptical trying cupping for the first time but she made me feel comfortable and relaxed and it worked wonders on my lower back.
Jenn is one of my FAVORITE massage therapists! I’m a therapist myself. I enjoy her approach to guiding the body into a productive healing process. Waiting a month to get into her was well worth the wait! Jenn cares about her clients and it shows in her work. I always feel whole when I leave ❤️ thank you Jennifer!!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
