It was my first time with salt stones and cupping and it was an amazing massage! Shawna was my therapist and I would definitely recommend her to anyone! She has a great personality and positive energy to be around as well.
Great massage! This was one of the best massages I have had. The therapist was wonderful and I highly recommend a visit. One thing I really appreciate is they give a full hour. (Another place I've been to gave 10 minutes on each end for dressing... and took that out of the paid hour).
My family member knew i was in deep need of an upper body massage, so as a gift i went to Body Compass. This was the best gift ever! I had a very relaxing session. I arrived a bit late but as soon as i walked through the door the front clerk attended me with a smile and answered all the questions i had.
I just came from a massage at body compass, and I can honestly say it was the most comprehensive massage I've ever had. Stephanie was amazing! She had her work cut out for her, but even though she was about to leave when I called, she worked on me for a solid hour and was able to work areas that no other therapist has…
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
