From the reviews
I have been coming to see Geri for the past year and it has been a great experience. I suffer from an autoimmune condition called mixed connective tissue disease and Geri has helped to stabilize my condition. I do take medication but it doesn't address many of my daily pains.
Blue Willow Acupuncture has been an essential addition to my stress management routine over the last year. I was doing all the healthy things, like regular exercise, but it still didn’t feel like enough.
Blue Willow has help me with lower back/hip pain. I have seen an improvement in my overall health as well as better sleep since starting acupuncture. I highly recommend giving Blue Willow a try.
My visits to Geri leave me rejuvenated and relaxed and best of all my body is able to move well again! I was struggling with plantar fasciitis and Achilles pain and I am back to running and lifting and walking without pain and I am so grateful
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
