This is a lovely spa, with lovely people both front & back of the spa. I brought my mom here to spoil her a bit as part of her 80th birthday celebration, along with my best friend/(sister) who came in from out of town to celebrate my mom. All three of us had 80 min massages.
Awesome place! I guarantee that you won't be disappointed. Everyone is professional and certified. I do have to say Vanessa did a fantastic job. To say that I felt relaxed and rejuvenated would be a huge understatement. She was professional and listened to my concerns in the first few minutes of the consulate.
Absolutely amazing experience as always with Ryker, Vanessa, and Sequoir! Each one of them has their own style but I always have a relaxing experience at Blue Stone Spa.
This is by far the best place for a massage in the upstate. It is welcoming, calming, clean, and makes you feel like you can just step out of time for an hour to relax. The front desk staff create that warm environment from the second you step in the door.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
