From the reviews
I wanted to share a positive update regarding my treatment at Blue Bell Acupuncture, where I have been a patient for the past six years. Leah has been providing exceptional care for my debilitating migraines, which were previously occurring four to five times a week and sometimes forced me to call out sick from work.
I received acupuncture from Leah Fanslau for several different remedies over the years. She calmed my anxiety with her soothing approach and I found the experience to be quite relaxing. She was also instrumental with my pregnancy when helping me with my IUI fertility.
Leah took time to hear my whole medical history and treatments tried before I came to her. Each visit she asks how the last treatment worked and checks in with me for the current visit. She is kind and gentle and really listens.
Acupuncture. So many benefits for doing Acupuncture. Me personally, stress relief, muscle aches and pains and many more benefits. Not sleeping well, Acupuncture works for me. The atmosphere is calming and wonderful, the setting is nice and relaxing. Leah will listen to you and work with you.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
