From the reviews
I have known and worked with Sarah for close to 10 years now. As a retired Pfrimmer and Craniosacral therapist, I go to Sarah because not only is she a gifted therapist, but she continues to grow and become even more talented/gifted in her work with Craniosacral.
Sarah is an excellent massage therapist! I have very tense shoulders and hamstrings, and she really listened to me when I described what I needed. Her prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of service, she has a convenient downtown Bloomington location, and she is very easy-going and professional.
It was a pleasure to have a "laying on of hands" by Sarah. Her energy was palpable the moment she cradled my heels in her palms. In my personal healing mystery having a practitioner who is as intuitive as she is professional and respectful proved valuable to inform my own intuitions. I look forward to seeing her again!
Sarah is a true professional. I went to her for craniosacral therapy to relieve a bad sinus problem with lots of congestion. I could feel the energy and the next day much of my congestion cleared out. She did a great job.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
