I recently visited Blooming Prairie Healing Arts and Anne provided an absolutely amazing experience for me. After a month of traveling, I was in desperate need of a nervous system reset!

I recent did the Fusion massage with Anne and it was such a magical experience! The vibro-acoustic table was amazing, and so was the massage after! One of the best massages I have ever gotten. Every single part of this experience was spectacular. The space is so cozy and such a vibe.

Blooming Prairie Healing Arts is a beautiful place. It is so relaxing, smells SO GOOD as soon as you open the front door, and just the calming atmosphere alone is healing! Getting a massage from Anne is the best medicine I can get for the arthritis I have in my shoulder and my back issues.

★★★★★ — Kaylin, Sep 2025

Anne has been a pleasure to work with from the very beginning. She is the best massage therapist I have ever had. I was having trouble with some extreme pain in my head, and her scalp massages have made it so I can sleep again! Everything she has done has been great and I plan to keep going as long as I can.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
