From the reviews

I cannot say enough AMAZIIIIIING things about my ongoing experience with Chloe at Bloom Acupuncture & Integrative Health. Long story short she fixed my back. Short story long found below. If you are wondering what you may experience, here we go (I receive acupuncture and cupping).

★★★★★ — Adam, Feb 2021

My experience with Chloe has been great! The atmosphere is very welcoming, relaxed, and comfortable. Chloe truly makes an effort to listen to me and asks tons of follow up questions so that she can gain a clear understanding of the imbalances I'm dealing with.

★★★★★ — Sara, Aug 2020

I had been contemplated doing acupuncture for years and finally decided to try it. I wish I had done it sooner. After receiving acupuncture from Chloe for the past several months, I wondered, “why doesn’t everyone do this? It is so healing and relaxing.

★★★★★ — Kim, Nov 2021

Chloe is such a talented and intuitive healer. She knows her medicine so well and takes time to listen to her patients to understand what they need. She took such great care of me, I feel like a brand new woman!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
