From the reviews
Danielle is phenomenal! She has a true talent for bodywork, and really puts energy into helping you heal. I have been seeing her for bodywork for a few years now, and most recently went to her with an exhaustingly painful shoulder issue.
I have had chronic shoulder pain for months and chronic neck pain for years. Waking up in pain with no relief to be found throughout the day. After ONE session I have no pain! What a difference that makes in my energy level, emotional regulation and overall ability to enjoy my day ❤️ I can’t wait for my next session!
Danielle is exceptional! Hands-up the best! Many years ago, I tried out her massage before booking one for my husband as his birthday gift. Her deep-tissue massage alleviated my chronic neck and shoulder pain right away. Needless to say, the massage was a successful birthday gift!
I’ve been telling anyone who will listen that Beyond Balance Bodywork "beat me up" in the most generous possible way! I've never had a massage therapist go as deep and effectively as Danielle did. She hit all the areas I asked for and worked out the knots and tension better than anyone else ever has.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
