“My chiropractor recommended Acupuncture for my neck and back pain, as an added treatment along with my chiropractic adjustments, and it has helped immensely!”
“Julie is professional and completed a complete evaluation of my health before starting a method of treatment.”
From the reviews
A year ago my chiropractor suggested I try acupuncture and recommended I go see Julienne for help with my neck and back pain due to an accident. After my first session I couldn’t believe how much it actually helped and she does so much more than just acupuncture, she does some type of massage on your shoulder and back…
Julie is professional and completed a complete evaluation of my health before starting a method of treatment. While other avenues of treatment were more costly and recommended by my primary physician, they did not help in treating my main concern of hip pain.
My chiropractor recommended Acupuncture for my neck and back pain, as an added treatment along with my chiropractic adjustments, and it has helped immensely! I have far less pain, and my headaches have disappeared! Julie, with Better Days Acupuncture, is very knowledgeable, and compassionate.
I had a severe pain in my lower back that spread to my right thigh. I did not sleep for 6 days. I went to Julie and after two treatments the pain was completely eliminated. I could not believe the placement of the needles could have such a profound effect. Thank you so much, Larry Long
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
