From the reviews
Beth is both a wonderful person and acupuncturist who truly cares about her patients and their wellbeing! In the year I’ve been seeing her my back pain has decreased dramatically. She takes time to listen to patients’ needs and even offers special services like gua sha and cupping.
I've seen Beth for a little over a month now, and in the short amount of time I've received her acupuncture services I have had reduced pain, more specifically my lower back and sciatica/leg pain. She is not only very knowledgeable about her field, but she is also kind and understanding.
This is my first time exploring acupuncture and Beth has been amazing. Treatments with her have not only helped with the jaw pain that I have experienced but just my overall wellness too. Highly recommend! She is amazing to work with and has a lovely, comfortable office which made getting started so much easier.
I started coming to acupuncture for shoulder and neck tension and Beth has helped me out in so many other ways beyond! She’s professional and kind and she always explains what treatment is being done in a detailed and easy way to understand.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
