What clients say about the cupping here
“It's really nice to have this athletic club in Berthoud”
From the reviews
I came to physical therapy doctors to see Caroline Creager for some chronic pain issues that no other physical therapist or medical doctor has been able to figure out. After one session with her, she suggested that I have vascular compression in my neck and a CSF leak.
Carolyn does a wonderful job a doctor and a PT especially when you are physically as beat up as a patient is as I am .
Friendly people helping you be better tomorrow than you are today
The environment is nice, the weight area is nice, and the pool is nicer. I just wish they actually set boulders for people to try with some challenge, instead of doing ladder-like climbs.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
