What clients say about the cupping here
“I’ve been suffering from plantar fasciitis for quite some time, and she did the acupuncture treatments on the calf muscle and my lower back to release the tension that caused the plantar fasciitis.”
“Jenny is very patient, and professional, and answers all of my questions.”
“She listened to my history (I have cancer), looked up my birth chart to see who I was when I came into this world, and looked at who I am now, and tailored treatment specific to me.”
“I have been to other acupuncturist before, but no one seem to be this gentle with inserting needles.”
From the reviews
Dr. Yang, or Jenny as we all call her, is an amazing acupuncturist. When I started looking for treatment, I read many reviews and decided to give it a try. To my delight they were all right. Jenny is a pleasure to speak with and supportive of whatever journey you are on.
I was a patient for about 5 months and the experience was life-changing. Jenny is very compassionate and knowledgable. What I loved the most, was that she took the time to talk to me and listened to my concerns and designed my treatments to meet those needs.
Love going here! Jenny is wonderful. She listened to my history (I have cancer), looked up my birth chart to see who I was when I came into this world, and looked at who I am now, and tailored treatment specific to me.
I had disc herniations in my cervical spine, which created a lot of pain to the back of neck, shoulders and upper arms. Seeing a chiropractor doesn't help much, however, acupuncture does alleviate a lot of the pain or me. Jenny is very patient, and professional, and answers all of my questions.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
