From the reviews

From acupuncture to cupping, this was a great release for me, physically and emotionally. I loved every minute it. Slept like a baby afterwards. I would recommend her to my friends and family.

I am one very satisfied customer! Kun Zhao is very knowledgeable, professional, trustworthy and above all understanding. Following a cycling accident Ms. Zhao all but eliminated my deep bruises and pain on my left shoulder, lung and lower back. My PCM wanted to prescribe pain killers and physical therapy.

★★★★★ — Salvador, Apr 2018

Kun Zhao is an excellent Acupuncturist and I highly recommend her to anyone who is searching for an alternative to Western Medicine. I have had chronic pain for several years and have seen many doctor's, but none of them could help me with the pain.

★★★★★ — Nancy, Nov 2019

Incredibly effective healing/pain relief. I was very skeptical, but now I trust doctor Khun, and believe in accupuncture. I have chronic neck/back pain, and this is the most effective pain relief out of many treatments i use including physical therapy, massage, and chiroptactic. This is the best one!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
