From the reviews
As a professional in Bodywork and Advanced Massage Therapy, I have dealt with many physical therapy practices. At times I have run into those just working in side the box and unable to deviate from the books.
As a senior in college playing lacrosse I tore my ACL, MCL, and Meniscus. I had a total knee reconstruction and repair done and needed to do some PT. After doing some research I found BSPT and was linked up with Jodi. Jodi is one of the best PT/Trainers I've ever worked with as an athlete.
Having broken my hand, the aftermath of the bone cure was some extremely tight ligaments in the hand from over use of the unaffected fingers, resulting in very limited motion and efficiency of use.
I’ve been here for a few weeks now for chronic knee pain and the team here as been so wonderful since the beginning. Not only are they knowledgeable and kind they are more than happy to share that knowledge so you have a better understanding of how your own body works.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
