I’ve been coming to Bare Sugar regularly, and I recently decided to try their halo therapy. If you’re not familiar with it, it’s definitely worth checking out—it offers some amazing health benefits. Even my child enjoys the halo therapy, which says a lot about how accessible and relaxing the experience is.
I just got home from my first float with Bare Sugar Spa.....OMGoodness! How relaxing and wonderful! They explain things very clearly, then allow you your space and time to get situated. The tank is WONDERFUL I opted for the relaxing music and no lights.
My first sugaring experience with Melissa was excellent. She was very professional and explained everything as she went along and made sure I was okay and happy with the results. I highly recommend her and the Beehive.
I recently visited the spa for my 60 minute massage followed by a “steamy wonder” (salt scrub w/ steam tent over the body) with Lexa. It all was AMAZING!! Lexa was so kind.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
