What clients say about the cupping here
“Not only is she insanely safe (due to COVID) with her practices but also knows her stuff.”
“Clinic has a relaxing vibe plenty of off street parking and my appointment was right on the dot!”
“I'm a cheapskate and I will continue to go to Brian even without discount because it's one of the most beneficial things I've done for sports recovery.”
From the reviews
Brian Hicks is phenomenal with getting to the root of your injury and takes a solid holistic approach to getting you back on your feet and improved! The injury massage isnt your typical massage so get the idea of swedish or deep tissue from your mind.
Started seeing Jenn for shoulder and ulnar nerve issues and she is absolutely amazing. Not only is she insanely safe (due to COVID) with her practices but also knows her stuff.
Professional and body changing treatment from Brian. He gives you a thorough assessment on your body movements that are not really assisting your posture, muscular groups and injuries. Immediate response to his treatment booked in for another session on Monday.
Booked an appointment for my mom who has gone to multiple Drs for a few years dealing with pain. Jen is the very first person who actually gave her some pain relief. She went out of her way to help her. I would recommend Jen to anyone & everyone I know!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
