From the reviews

I would highly recommend Aretas. The owner, Nate, is a wonderful person and amazing physical therapist. He helped me recover from a complicated hamstring injury and surgery- it was very difficult for me mentally as I was used to running 90+ miles a week before the injury.

★★★★★ — Hannah, Mar 2025

Let me start with a bit of a hot take: Nate and his team at Aretas have had a more overall positive impact on my physical well-being than any other individual or organization before them - and I'm not easily impressed! Seriously, Aretas is a blinding beacon of light in the ever-evolving world of modern healthcare.

★★★★★ — Dave, Dec 2025

Aretas is incredibly welcoming and feels very familial from the moment you walk in. The staff really strive to make their patients not just healthier, but happier as well. I worked with Jack and Cam, and although it was just for a month, I’m so glad I was able to learn from them and work with them.

★★★★★ — Ariel, Jul 2026

Aretas an incredibly energetic atmosphere. Everyone on staff is personable and kind, and they really show that they care about your improvement and wellbeing even if you're not working with them directly. This is a place that is going to encourage and help you to meet your goals, however big or small.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
