From the reviews

I absolutely LOVE seeing Oni for acupuncture treatments. She has such a comforting and caring energy and I always leave her treatments feeling rejuvenated and like my physical/energetic/emotional needs were addressed.

Oni treats my whole family and we love her. Takes care of my hubby's back and shoulder...and my shoulders too. She is so calm and compassionate and very knowledgeable. Your first visit she gets ALL your info!..always a relaxing experience (I fall asleep and dream I'm swimming with the whales! )

Ondria is the most caring, compassionate, heart felt person I have ever met! The perfect bedside manner for her profession! And acupuncture is our first choice for any medical need. We used it to help reduce the initial shock and pain of a broken collar bone.

★★★★★ — Cheryl, Apr 2019

Oni has been treating our senior dog with acupuncture for her arthritis. What a HUGE difference we have seen! Her limp is much better and as a result, her anxieties around pain are also much better. We’ve seen positive impacts on her mobility, her sleep, her demeanor, her activity levels, and her overall health.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
