From the reviews
…I have never had a better deep tissue massage, and she also introduced me to cupping, which has been hugely beneficial for me. I can happily recommend Serene to anyone looking for a quality massage. She is the Best! Imo :)
Serene really knows her stuff and is able to give the best deep tissue massages with cupping. I always walk away with a major decrease in tension!
I went in not feeling well—my body was already dealing with allergies and irritation from all the wildfire smoke. Serene took such good care of me. Instead of going deep and risking more strain, she adjusted her approach with care and intuition.
Serene is truly exceptional. I had an amazing experience and can’t recommend her enough. She has an incredible ability to locate the true source of pain and tension, not just treat the surface symptoms. Her knowledge, intuition, and technique are on another level.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
