From the reviews

I’ve been going to Back to Balance for a few years now. I ended up ending a monthly membership to another place because I love the staff and services at Back to balance so much. It’s always been very easy to schedule the options for services are excellent.

★★★★★ — Rachelle, Dec 2021

Paris provides a very relaxing atmosphere. Paris's technique is amazing and the dynamic stretching she adds during the session is soo helpful. You can never get that kind of needed stretch on your own which I think is very important for recovery... Thank You Paris

★★★★★ — Pete, Jan 2025

Paris is great and easy to work with, she is down to earth. She gives exactly what you ask for and make proper recommendations on how to keep up with her services. And she is always reachable when you need an appointment.

★★★★★ — Michelle, Aug 2023

Paris has the hands of a God! She is very intentional with the needs of your body. I felt like she took years of tension of my body. She’s very passionate and lovely! Her location is convenient, warm and welcoming.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
