The Shrewsbury Elements location is by far the best I’ve ever visited! The massage therapists are kind and focus in on problem areas to help with pain management. The office staff have been great as well.
My experience here was fantastic. The front desk and receptionists were amazing, incredibly sweet and compassionate, and Poppy was above and beyond the best massage I have had in over 20 years.
Immediately noticed cleanliness upon entering. Receptionists were friendly and helpful. My massage therapist was Nicole. She was experienced and knowledgeable which I needed. She was professional and caring. Update second visit with another therapist was just OK. He was actually about a 3.5. Just so-so.
Christine is very good and professional. She checked on me about the pressure many times and made sure I was satisfied with the service. I always look forward to have her as my masseuse with her cheerful attitude. If you need a deep tissue massage, I highly recommend her.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
