Here's what we found: “ice clinically proven to reduce wrinkles and fine lines, stimulate collagen production, improve skin tone and texture, and reduce inflammation. From the reviews

I started my treatment with Alison in early November of 2018. At that point I was getting regular migraines with no relief in sight, and my secondary concern was the trouble I was having with anxiety.

★★★★★ — Reed, May 2019

Alison is incredible. I was struggling with chronic health issues and seeing several doctors, but nothing was working and I felt like I had no other options. Alison took the time to deeply understand my concerns and issues so that my healing would go beyond my weekly appointments.

★★★★★ — Carmen, Jul 2022

Alison is an incredible practitioner and an even more amazing person! I started seeing her in January 2021 for hormone imbalances, headaches and insomnia. Within a month my headaches had resolved and I was sleeping through the night.

★★★★★ — Rachel, Jul 2023

Allison is amazing. She took detailed notes during the review of systems. She was friendly, personable, and genuinely engaged while getting to know me, my lifestyle, and determining a course of treatment. It was my first time getting acupuncture but she put me immediately at ease.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
