I’m sharing my experience as I do across all businesses and am normally fair in doing so. My wife and I went here this past weekend and overall the experience was fair to good to say the most.
I’ve tried many massage locations in Eau Claire and by far this is the most professional one I’ve gotten, the lady knew what she was doing and the pressure was perfect, there was a good balance of rough and light pressure in certain areas. I got a 120minute(2hr) massage with lymphatic drainage, hot stones, & cupping.
Great experience! Immediately when I walked in I was given a small bottle of water. As a 25 year old woman I was a little nervous that my masseur was going to be male, but he was very respectful and did a great job. I even felt my spine shift a bit at one point when he worked out some knots around my shoulder blades.
My massage was phenomenal. I have been looking for a new masseuse since the person who I had seen for many years moved on to a different line of work. 5 stars for ease of online booking, Pressure used, clean, professional, and you get the full amount of time that you pay for.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
