From the reviews

I haven't been here in a few years due to moving to the other side of the state. I have made the 3 hour trip specifically for an appointment. I've tried multiple other acupuncturist, even out in California. Casey is still the best for cupping and acupuncture by far. I refer all of my friends to see him.

★★★★★ — Macy, Dec 2022

I have been seeing Casey for multiple problems steming from headaches to joint problems to stomach issues. The very first time I set foot in his door, i was just intending to get information on acupuncture. I went in with a headache and some knee pain.

★★★★★ — Alicia, Aug 2017

For months I had tingling in my hands and pain in my arms. My doctor thought it was carpal tunnel. I tried her suggestions, and I still had the pain. I decided to try acupuncture and after my first appointment with Casey, my hands and arms quit hurting. I had my first night of painless sleep in months.

★★★★★ — Leigh, Oct 2024

Casey is very knowledgeable and holds a masters in his practice. I moved cities and couldn't continue treatment, but even after just one session I was feeling more confident and alive. He also gave me a homemade recipe that was super delicious and fun to make!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
