I was attending a building inspector’s conferences for the weekend in Atlantic City and I woke up crooked and I couldn’t walk with my back straight. I immediately called them, they have been very nice over the phone and they managed to get me an appointment on the same day.
Andy and Travis are the best. I work a physically demanding job, and they are a crucial part of keeping my body feeling and functioning great. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a chiropractor!
During my pregnancy I found myself having extreme pain in my “groin” as I called it. The pain was so bad it had me in tears and barely could walk or stand (Dr Andy & Travis know I don’t cry so this was a big deal).
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
