What clients say about the cupping here
“My PT helped a lot my Chiro some, but the cupping and the care level Angelle brought took my muscles to the level they needed to release the tension my muscles were holding.”
“Lauren is so knowledgeable, and listened to all my issues and concerns before setting me up in their comfortable and peaceful space.”
“I saw Lauren, and she was fantastic, explaining the process to me clearly and checking in throughout the session to make sure I was comfortable.”
“I have to admit I was a little skeptical of ashiatsu massage because I had never done it before and am usually not particularly comfortable with the concept of having feet on me.”
“I recover faster from my workouts, I have little to no lower back pain after work now, and I find I'm sleeping better.”
“Besides being an incredible practitioner, she is also very welcoming and kind and always takes the time to listen to you.”
From the reviews
Angelle was my massage therapist for this first visit. She absolutely killed it. Came in for a back recovering from a herniated disk that had flared for the first time from a car accident weeks before.
I live in north GA, so it was a bit of a trek to midtown, but SO worth it! Lauren is so knowledgeable, and listened to all my issues and concerns before setting me up in their comfortable and peaceful space. (Side note- parking is SO easy, bonus!) This was my first shiatsu massage and it was wonderful.
I’ve had a few sports massages in the past that I’ve found to be too painful to be impactful or sustainable. Yesterday was my first time here, and I truly felt immediate relief and booked my next appointment before i left. Perfect mix of relaxation & effectiveness for a sore & tight weightlifter/crossfitter!
Lauren is Amazing. I have been dealing with some chronic pain min my shoulders and back and in one visit I felt so much better. I live a state away and am already planning my visit back just for the Ashiatsu. 20/10. Fantastic. Stupendous. Words cannot describe how this service with her has improved my life! Thank you!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
