From the reviews
I had a wonderful experience at Athletico in New Lenox. Noah, my physical therapist, was knowledgeable, encouraging, and truly cared about helping me feel better and make progress. He took the time to explain everything and made every visit comfortable and positive.
From the beginning of my journey with hip replacement surgery, therapist Mike, Jeanne, Noah, Angie, made my recovery go very well. The professionalism they used was above and beyond. With the help of Eric and Sara and others my rehab went very well.
I really liked Athletico in New Lenox. I had a wonderful experience. Noah and all of the staff were helpful, caring, and extremely patient. They helped to increase my balance and build-up my strength. Thank you so much!
Submitting on behalf of my teenage daughters Rhyanna & Raelynn: Yo, if you ever need physical therapy, go see Angie and Gina. Like seriously, they are actual lifesavers. I went in barely able to move my back without it feeling like it was about to break and now I’m out here doing push-ups like nothing even happened.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
