After having a Knee replacement on Friday, I am receiving PT from Athletico in Lowell. I started Monday & have 4 weeks scheduled. Justin & his staff are professional, courteous & easy to talk to. I feel comfortable there. Alexis & Nicole are my main Therapist & I’m in good hands!
We are 2 days in and our experience couldn’t be better. My son is 6 and is walking on his toes more and more with each growth spurt. We struggled at getting in to the physical therapists that we were recommended to and put on several pediatric waitlists. One call to Athletico and we were given an appointment.
This place is very good, and it helped me find out a lot of things about my foot just on day one, and the staff was really cool and nice. PS, Alexis and Beth should get a big big big big BIG raise, and she should make at least $120 dollars per hour.

And someone’s always there to direct you to your next exercise, even if it’s not their patient. They look after one another as well as the patient.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
